Possible pick-ups:
- friday about 16:30 (Big Bus from arlanda). Early birds who want to take the friday classes also get a pickup.
Drop- off after camp:
- sunday at 17:30 (Big bus/minivan leaving from Herräng.) The rest might get a drop-off depending on times.
General information.
You arrive on Friday and we pick you up with a bus at Arlanda. The classes are Saturday and Sunday 10am-5pm (5 hours each day).
On Friday we offer 4 hours of classes for the ones coming in early! If you wanna join it costs 500 sek extra.
In Herräng a hot dinner is waiting . Every night there is open practise (just like they did it in the 80-ies of Herräng dance camp) where your trainers will be around to answer questions and to socialdance offcourse and you can practise with the other students.
On Saturday there is also the hilarious ”first time”-cabaret: A cabaret with acts where the performers try something for the first time in their life: juggling, socialdance to ”Take five” or playing the kazoo.
We have parties but no theme other than hard work! ;)
Danceclasses start every morning with voluntary jogging and a personal tour of Herräng.
Sundayafternoon we have a paneltalk about the past and the present Lindy hop of today. It is also a relaxed socialdance with some people leaving and some people staying until mondaymorning when the last bus to Arlanda leaves.
Accomodation is bunk beds or mattresses either in the gym at the schoolarea or in ”Woodside” next to Folkets hus. We serve breakfast, hot lunch and hot dinner and fruit every day.
We are superhappy to welcome back our dreamteam from Cologne: Esther & Bernd with friends! Last year they helped us with cooking, cleaning and partying and we feel like we can not do the camp without them anymore!
They, and you, are part of making this event what it is: a weekend of happenings, good friends, practise, fun and sweat!
